Legal Requirements

Key Accessibility Features

Visual Accessibility

Color Contrast

  • Text should have 4.5:1 contrast ratio against background

  • Minimum 16px for body text

  • Avoid hover-only information displays

Screen Reader Compatibility

  • Proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3)
  • Semantic HTML structure
  • Descriptive link text ("View appetizers" not "Click here")
  • Form labels for any input fields
